"Touch matters": the story of a little understood sensory modality

Touch represents our window to the world: a way of physically interacting with our surrounding environment.
Today I bring to your attention this very interesting overview of the work of Prof Francis McGlone (Professor in Neuroscience, School of Natural Sciences and Psychology, Liverpool John Moore Universitywho has been looking into the neurophysiological bases of pleasant touch.
